The end of FireX classic server

Hello!
Due to financial reasons we have been forced to shut down the server. However, we have an SMP server instead;83.222.240.34:28865.

What "financial issues"? Hosting a Minecraft server is free.

It's free if you host it on your own computer, but we hosted it on a VPS which cost us $25 per month.

C'mon. You guys have GOT to get Fire-X back up. Now Minecraft has been pretty boring lately. I mean, why can't you just host both? I know there was a lot of griefing going around back there, but a lot of people still want it back!

Sorry, I do not have a webcam nor a microphone. So I never got Skype, but can you use text chat on Skype? If yes: I will get it, but I don't exactly know how to make it a Mclawl or flatland, or anything like that, so I'll need your help!

That's what I'm planning to help you with, and yes, you can use text chat on Skype. Also, I went on the Fire-X Beta server, and there was this guy named Elmo_Diggins who said he BOUGHT THE SERVER! 
He said he used some program that lets him buy out minecraft servers that don't pay... Are you having financial issues with the beta server too?

i did not use a program to buy minecraft server. i bought it from the company multiplay which i assume you did before. whats with the wiered totem poles everywhere with torches? anyway please see the thread i made https://firex.swedishforum.net/t64-to-everyone thankyou. and i paid something like £6 for it
